Weekly Workout Recap

Happy Monday! I am so happy for the short work week, I really need it! We’re heading to the Berkshires Thursday morning to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. I’m really looking forward to it, I hope these three days go by quickly! On to the weekly workout recap. I ran a half marathon yesterday (recap coming soon!), so I took it really easy with my workouts this week. A lot of rest and stretching. Monday: Barre class. What a great[Read more]

What am I thankful for?

With Thanksgiving just around the corner (I know, I can’t believe it either!), I thought I would take some time to think about a few things that I am thankful for this year. I think I really need to become a morning runner. The past couple weeks I’ve gotten up early to get my long run in on Saturday, and I’ve absolutely loved it. It’s easier for me to get out the door before I can think about any distractions. Now if only[Read more]

Let’s talk about goal-setting, shall we? I’m good at creating goals, but my follow-through could use some work. For instance, I wanted to write a blog. What a great idea! I set it up, found a couple of nice pictures, and wrote my first post. And then…..four months went by before I wrote another post. Whoops! But seriously, goals are a great way to gauge where you are and set something admirable to work towards. I find that I know[Read more]
